With a range of online tools and case studies, the UK Business Climate Hub has now relaunched, providing a ‘one-stop-shop’ to help organisations increase their efficiency and lower their energy costs.
The UK Business Climate Hub, a centre for sustainability advice for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) was developed with DESNZ, the SME Climate Hub and business organisations, energy networks, high street banks and professional bodies, and managed by the Broadway Initiative.
In light of the Willow Review, an independent Government-backed review aiming to underline the financial benefits of sustainability for small businesses, the relaunched site hopes to connect better with the needs of SMEs at a time of energy uncertainty.
“SMEs are the backbone of our economy and businesses and together with the UK Business Climate Hub we are helping them to cut their energy bills for good,” said Minister for Industry, Chris McDonald.
Run by the Broadway Initiative, the UK Business Climate Hub Coalition members of the coalition include: Barclays, the British Business Bank, the British Chambers of Commerce, the Confederation of British Industry (CBI), the Federation of Small Businesses (FSB), HSBC, the Institute of Sustainability and Environmental Professionals (ISEP), the Institute of Directors (IoD), Lloyds Bank, Make UK, NatWest, National Grid, Northern Powergrid, Sage, SP Electricity North West and UK Power Networks.
