Eco datacentres in Asia

Vena Global Group has announced a wholly-owned subsidiary dedicated to the development of AI-ready data centre infrastructure (AI-DC) in campuses integrated with large-scale renewable power projects, as well as distributed edge facilities co-located with its renewable energy sites.

Vena Nexus inherits a pipeline of approximately 3GW of data centre developments originally initiated within Vena Energy, including over 1GW of AI-DC projects with secured power, land, and permits. Its current footprint includes Japan, Singapore, Malaysia, and the Philippines, with ongoing expansion into Thailand, South Korea, Australia, and other existing Vena Group markets across the Asia Pacific region.

“Vena Nexus is purpose-built to deliver next-generation green digital infrastructure, where compute and renewable power are co-designed from the ground up,” said Simone Grasso, CIO of Vena Group and Global Head of Vena Nexus. “We are focused on integrating high-performance data centre infrastructure with grid-ready energy solutions, enabling our clients to scale AI workloads in markets where capacity and sustainability are increasingly difficult to secure.”

Demand for green and energy-efficient data centres is accelerating as owners seek energy solutions for energy hungry datacentres that do not create environmental impact.
